Kids Fashion Fest
elevate its profile and engage local and visiting families alike
The Eden Centre in High Wycombe has it all. It’s a one-stop destination for shopping, dining, and leisure facilities. The centre wanted to elevate its profile and engage local and visiting families alike. With Xcite’s strong fashion credentials, it looked to the team to produce and build a stand-out children’s catwalk spectacle, igniting audience affinity long after the show-finish.
The Brief
As the centre’s inaugural children’s fashion event, the centre needed to see direct sales uplift to prove the worth of the project.
Xcite needed to ensure that as many retailers as possible could participate in the event across categories from fashion to homeware.
The team had to ensure every participating retailer enjoyed maximum visibility, with impressive set styling and impactful visual merchandising.
Our Solution
Xcite’s production and logistics team created the perfect retailer display area with trestle tables and wooden apex sheds displaying selected clothing, accessories and soft furnishings. Xcite transformed the centre’s interior into a cornucopia of pumpkins, fallen leaves and grassy mounds illuminating each look in a vibrant autumnal display.
The team produced a captivating children’s fashion show, sourcing modelling talent to showcase retailers' clothing at intervals across the weekend.
The results? Retailers across the board agreed that the event had been a huge success, significantly increasing footfall, dwell time and elevating spend. Customers directly requested the looks they’d seen in the show and were quick to purchase the on-trend items curated and styled by Xcite. The show’s triumph ensured there were smiles all round for retailers and families alike.
